Please help us welcome Abigail to the In Her Era Ambassador Team! 💖🤼♀️
Abigail wrestles with Driller Wrestling Club in California, and we loved the story of how wrestling became such a big part of her family's life.
It started with her brother.
Then came a pretty simple question: why can't the girls do it too?
Today, there are three female wrestlers in Abigail's family.
Abigail made the decision to leave gymnastics for wrestling, and what started as trying a different sport has turned into something she hopes to continue all the way into college.
But she isn't keeping it to herself. Abigail brings friends with her to introduce them to wrestling, while her family openly shares their experience and encourages more girls to give the sport a chance.
We think there's something really important about that. Sometimes growing girls wrestling isn't complicated. One girl gets an opportunity to wrestle, realizes she loves it, and then turns around and brings another girl through the door with her.
That's how a sport that was once seen as something primarily for boys starts becoming something an entire family doesn't think twice about their daughters doing.

Welcome to the team, Abigail! We're excited to have you representing In Her Era and helping more girls discover where wrestling might take them. 💕
