Adilynn is 5 years old and wrestles for both Peyton Youth Wrestling and Simla Star Wrestling in Colorado. What inspired us most about her application wasn't tournament results or accomplishments. It was the joy she brings to the sport every time she steps on the mat.
Adilynn loves wrestling because she gets to share it with her big sisters and friends. Whether she's learning something new, working hard at practice, or cheering on her teammates, she approaches every opportunity with a smile and a positive attitude.
Her family shared that she already understands one of the most important parts of wrestling: making everyone feel welcome. At just 5 years old, she enjoys encouraging her teammates, being a good friend, and showing other girls that wrestling is a place where they can be strong, brave, and have fun.
We especially love that Adilynn wrestles for two different clubs and is excited to keep learning and growing every day. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and it's young athletes like her who help create welcoming environments where more girls feel comfortable giving wrestling a try.
