In a short amount of time, she's already discovered that wrestling is about so much more than wins and losses. It's about resilience, hard work, determination, staying humble, and continuing to grow every day.
Even as a first-year wrestler, Penelope is already looking for ways to encourage others. She enjoys helping younger wrestlers when they're struggling, cheering on other girls at tournaments, and making sure they know someone is in their corner. She also dreams of becoming a coach one day so she can help future generations of girls achieve their goals.
