Ambassador Team Spotlight: McKinley

McKinley is 6 years old and wrestles for Camel Kids Wrestling in Gillette, Wyoming. What inspired us most about her application wasn't just her love for wrestling, but the fearless attitude she brings to every match.

During only her second year of wrestling, McKinley often found herself competing against girls who were nearly two years older because of the age cutoff. Instead of letting that intimidate her, she stepped onto the mat every single time with determination, confidence, and a smile. That's the kind of grit that can't be taught.

We also absolutely loved one detail her family shared: McKinley isn't afraid to show up to a tournament wearing a dress and high heels... with her singlet underneath! 💕 That perfectly reminds us that girls don't have to choose between being feminine and being tough. They can be both, and that's something worth celebrating.

McKinley also loves introducing other girls to wrestling. She's always inviting friends from school to come watch tournaments, encouraging them to join a team, and even convinced her little sister to start wrestling next season. That's exactly how girls wrestling continues to grow.
