Rylee Jo wrestles with Pierre Governors AAU in South Dakota, and we're especially excited to welcome another girl from our home state to the team!
Rylee Jo started wrestling just last year, and it didn't take long for her to fall completely in love with the sport.
But one of our favorite parts of her application wasn't about wrestling itself. It was about the community her family found along the way.
Her mom shared how warmly they were welcomed into the wrestling family and how much that experience has meant to them. Now they want to help other girls and families feel that same sense of belonging.
We love that.
Rylee Jo's mom attends every practice, learning right alongside her daughter and helping teach her that being a good wrestler isn't only about winning matches. It's about showing good sportsmanship, cheering on teammates, and supporting the people around you.
And honestly, that's one of the things we love most about youth wrestling. The sport doesn't just bring athletes together. It brings entire families into a community they might never have found otherwise.
We're pretty excited that Rylee Jo and her family want to help introduce more girls to that experience, especially right here in South Dakota.
