Sage wrestles for Wind River Wrestling Club in Kinnear, Wyoming. What inspired us most about her application wasn't just her love for wrestling, but her fearless attitude and willingness to take on every challenge that comes her way.
Sage has been wrestling for three years and isn't afraid to push herself beyond her comfort zone. In addition to competing in the girls division, she also entered the boys division because she wanted an even bigger challenge. That's the kind of determination and courage that defines great wrestlers.
Her family describes her as a "spunky fireball," and we think that's the perfect way to describe someone who approaches every opportunity with energy, confidence, and a can-do attitude.
Sage is also a natural leader. As a fifth-grade team captain, she encourages her teammates, keeps everyone motivated, and leads by example every time she steps into the wrestling room. Whether she's competing or cheering from the sidelines, she's always helping her team become stronger together.
