Vivian is 9 years old and wrestles with Purler Wrestling in Missouri. What inspired us most about her application wasn't just her success on the mat, but her passion for helping girls wrestling continue to grow.
Vivian is already an AAU State Champion, an Adidas Nationals placer, and was named Rookie of the Year at her club. But what really stood out to us was her commitment to introducing more girls to the sport and helping them discover everything wrestling has to offer.
Her family shared that they actively promote girls wrestling by attending all-girls camps, helping families with travel expenses, and even giving away singlets to encourage more girls to get involved. Vivian also loves sharing wrestling with other girls at tournaments, school, and through social media because she believes every girl should know there's a place for her on the mat.
One thing we especially loved was Vivian's excitement about representing a brand created specifically for female wrestlers. Like us, she believes girls deserve gear designed with them in mind and a community that celebrates their place in the sport.
