Kinsley is entering her fifth year of wrestling and has already built an incredible wrestling résumé, including becoming a three-time state placer and earning more than 100 career victories.
But what inspired us most about Kinsley's application wasn't her accomplishments. It was the way she approaches the sport.
Her family shared that when Kinsley steps onto the mat, the energy changes. Her dedication, confidence, and work ethic are contagious. She's fearless in competition, yet humble in victory and gracious in defeat. She's often the first person to congratulate her opponents and somehow manages to make new friends everywhere she wrestles.
Kinsley has also been a tremendous supporter of girls wrestling in Lead-Deadwood and throughout the Black Hills. Whether she's cheering on teammates, supporting younger wrestlers, or helping other girls feel welcomed and included, she understands that the future of our sport depends on lifting each other up.
