Robyn is from Walnut Grove, Minnesota, and wrestles with TMB/WWG in Minnesota and JWA in South Dakota. She loves the hard work that comes with wrestling, learning new skills, and sharing her passion for the sport with other girls.
But there was one part of Robyn's application that really stuck with us.
Her mom shared that they've had parents approach them after tournaments specifically to tell them how kind Robyn was to their daughters and how included she made them feel.
We love that.
Girls wrestling is growing incredibly fast, but it isn't enough to simply get more girls into the wrestling room. We want them to walk into that room and find other girls who encourage them, help them when they're struggling, and make them feel like they belong there.
Robyn is already doing that.
